St. John’s, NL – March 7, 2025 – As we welcome our new chair, ASP expresses a special thank you to Paul Grant, of Beothic Fish Processors, for his dedicated service as outgoing Chair. His leadership and passion for the industry has been instrumental in advancing the interests of seafood producers, fostering collaboration, and strengthening the industry’s future. His dedication and contributions will have a lasting impact, and we sincerely appreciate his hard work and leadership.

We proudly welcome Kim Quinlan as the first woman to chair the ASP Board of Directors. Leading an industry that contributes $1.1 billion to the Newfoundland and Labrador economy annually, Kim brings deep expertise, strategic vision, and a relentless commitment to progress.

As VP of Marketing at Quinlan and a member of the Women Presidents Organisation, Kim has mastered the seafood industry from the ground up. For five years, she has been a driving force within ASP—advocating for sustainability, trade, and economic development while protecting the interests of seafood processors across Atlantic Canada.

Beyond the boardroom, Kim is a mentor, volunteer, and champion for the next generation. She leads with integrity, makes tough decisions, and brings people together to push the industry forward.

Executive Director Jeff Loder says, “On the eve of International Women’s Day, March 8, we celebrate Kim and all women breaking barriers, leading with strength, and shaping the future of our industry. Join us in congratulating Kim on this well-earned leadership role! We invite industry partners, stakeholders, and the community to join in congratulating Kim Quinlan on this well-earned leadership role and in recognizing the invaluable service of Paul Grant.”
